For those who love the histories of sound. recordings, this is a unique opportunity to HEAR the difference among different machines. Beginning with a Amberol cylindar recording played on a 1902 Edison Talking Machine, the tour travels through the same song on shellac 78 rpm, 45 rpm, and 33 rpm records. Moving to the medium of tape, listen to the differences among recordings on reel-to-reel , 8-tracks, and cassetes. The end-of-the 20th century turntables from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s play vinyls of the era. Get ready to discover or rediscover the evolution of sound cultures throughout the century.
